What we offer

Services

Every program starts with data, not guesswork. Pick your path — the training adapts to you, not the other way around.

The standard

Four ways in. One standard.

Whether you’re new to a barbell or coming off a college career, every BBSL client gets the same thing: velocity-based tracking, honest coaching, and a plan built from your numbers — not a template.

Why it’s different

Every session generates data. Every plan updates because of it.

Most gyms guess at load with a max test once a quarter. We measure bar speed on every working set and adjust in real time.

VBT

OVR Connect Sensors

Bar-speed data captured on every set — velocity tells us more about readiness than an RPE guess ever will.

AI-Assisted

Tracking That Adjusts

Load and volume shift automatically as your data trends — no waiting for a testing week to know you’re ready for more.

Programming

Documented Progress

Every assessment produces a written breakdown of your strengths and priorities, and individual programming for your goals, body, and life.

Where you train

In-person or remote. Same standard either way.

Programming doesn’t require a shared zip code. Former college athletes and out-of-area lifters get the same data-driven approach through async coaching.

In-Person

Garage gym, Vancouver, WA. Live coaching, hands-on cueing, real-time VBT feedback every rep.

Remote / Async

Programming delivered on your schedule, video check-ins, and the same individual programming for your goals, body, and life — from anywhere.

Questions

Before you book.

Do I need experience to start?
No. Most 1:1 and small group clients start at zero. The assessment tells us where to begin — not the other way around.
What’s the difference between remote and in-person?
Same programming philosophy, same data-driven adjustments. In-person adds live coaching and hands-on cueing.
How is load determined without a max test?
Movement quality and bar-speed data set your starting loads — safer and more accurate than a one-rep max on day one.
Where is the gym?
4414 NE 12th Ave, Vancouver, WA 98663 — a private training studio with parking on site. Get directions.
